Is it okay for my newborn to sleep in his swing at night?

He is 2 weeks old and he has a cold. I’m scared if i put him in his crib he will choke on flem and cough and i won’t be able to help him. He has been sleeping in his swing almost all day. I am confused on what to do. please any advice would be nice. thank you
